Morocco to Address Water Supply Concerns at World Water Week in Stockholm

The Moroccan delegation took part in various high-level meetings and conferences to discuss possible measures to help protect water resources across the world.They also presented the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize. FAO, WWC Promote Water Accounting 

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and partners are conducting online consultations on how “water accounting” can be used to address water scarcity. The agency is promoting the initiative among World Water Council (WWC) members, and it will result in the publication of a ‘White Paper on Water Accounting,’ to be launched at the 8th World Water Forum in Brazil in March 2018. Help us build the 8th World Water Forum

The 8th World Water Forum will take place from 18 to 23 March 2018 in Brasilia and has elected “Sharing Water” as its underlying theme. As part of preparation, everyone from around the globe will once again have the opportunity to voice their opinions at worldwaterforum8.org from 12 of June 2017.This is the 2nd launching of the forum and Cap-Net UNDP act as one of the moderators in this platform. Each round will last between 8-10 weeks.
