Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Fortaleza (1989), Master in Civil Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1993), Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) from the University of Newcastle (United Kingdom, 2001). Works as a Professor and an independent consultant.

Alexandre Gross

Environmental engineer, MSc

Environmental engineer, with a double degree from the Polytechnic School of USP and the École des Ponts ParisTech (Paris, France) and a Master's degree in Economics of Sustainable Development and Environment (ParisTech). Works for the Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of the Business Administration School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP)

Arturo Eduardo Martinez Rodriguez

BA International Affairs

Born and raised in Mexico, Arturo holds a degree in International Affairs and is currently studying an International Diplomat in communication and audiovisual skills for the construction of the medial, the transmedia story and practical learning about sustainability. He has participated since 2006 in the World Water Forums, has served as regional representative for Latin America and the Caribbean of the World Youth Parliament for Water from 2012 to 2015. He works as a consultant for human and sustainable-related strategy development and projects.

Daene McKinney

Civil and Environmental Engineering, Phd

Dr. Daene C. McKinney is Professor of Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. McKinney’s interests include sustainable management of water resources, especially the integration of engineering, economic, environmental and political considerations in transboundary basins. His current research focuses on climate change adaptation in major river basins, impacts of climate change in glacier-dominated river basins, sharing of transboundary aquifers, the development of water management decision support systems, and the application of cooperative game theory to transboundary river basin negotiations. He is Governor (Alternate) of the World Water Council.
